First of all, based upon the list of realistic finalists, I'm in the BBB camp. I just think he creates the biggest buzz amongst fans, the media, and recruits, and would bring back that old school, hard-working mentality and killer instinct we've been lacking.

That being said, if Richt is the guy, and he does what he says he wants to do, namely, being more hands-on with the offense by calling plays again and working with the quarterbacks, etc., is there not a reason to believe that we could become an offensive power? I mean, the guy did preside over some of the most prolific offenses ever at FSU. If he brought in a tough, aggressive-minded DC to instill some savagery on that side of the ball, I guess that would be something that I could get behind.

What do you all think? Am I being reasonable, or am I just trying to put lipstick on a pig? Sonny Long, I already know your answer. Lol.

Richt is going to pick ******, IMHO. Their fans have far lower expectations, and he doesn't want the pressure here.

my only concern...he did lament the pressure cooker he was under at Georgia to win NC's and conference championships. What's changed other than angry fans flying banners on national t.v. calling to get you fired if he tanks here?

Those losers up here gave him 15 years!!!!!! Pressure cooking my rosy red ***. We wanted Coker gone 3 years after one NC two undefeated regular seasons and another NC game. Mark needs to go to Divinity school instead of here. His only hope here is that all of us just give up on the program and he is only in the stadium every week.

Are you referring to the "miserable" comment? I think he was referring to himself and staff been big as upset as anyone else when they fall short of a NC. That's how I read it anyway.

yes...you may be right, but I thought in context it was referring to the high expectations that have been created there.

Exactly what pressure would have here that he would not have up there. We get no fans to games, not like he could have attendance drop any further that it already is. And I am sure other than Twitter, a few vocal ex-players and the occasional plane flying over, i would think currently we are the team with am coach that would not have pressure on him. If anything the excuse that these are Golden's players would buy him at least 2 years of stress free coaching. This is not the late 80's into 90's anymore.
