I felt like Thomas made the mistake on the TD. It looked like Thomas was staring at the QB while the TD ran past him. But maybe Thomas thought he had help from Antoine and let him go.

The LB didn't get any depth. We dropped the DE to the weak flat, the corner then acted like a safety, but #1 didn't get any kind of drop at all.

it's a great play design and they ran the same play earlier in that drive or the previous drive i tihnk, but they ran it to the field. This time they ran it to the boundry, just like @Lance Roffers said they like to do LOL. Nice play, nice execution in a big spot.

In cover 3 there is nothing he can do with those flood concepts, he has the guy running deep. I dont know why we stopped buzzing guys underneath, we almost got 2 INTs first half playing that corner rout on flood concept but if you expect Slime to jump the corner while covering deep responsibilities and he abandons and leaves wide open, doesnt make sense.

Like I said, I have to rewatch, but he looked confused to me the whole time.

I’m not shocked they went at him so much. He is a freshman pushed into duty. Would be negligence to not attack him. He was put in a tough spot.

But there’s a reason he is CB5 and it showed last night.

He is CB5 because we bought in like 4 VET corners.. He mad point saving plays and I saw alot of talent for the young man, undersized as true freshman but coming off acl injury I think being thrust in that situation he did as best he could and thats all we can ask for, had pass breakup and point saving tackle near goal line. Expecting the deep cover 3 corner to cover not only the deep man but also the flood underneath is crazy..
