Ohio Taint vs Ped State thread

I just heard the announcer gargling Chase Young. “Seven sacks in 2 games! He’s the best player in the country!”. Man Rousseau just had 7 his last two games as well. I think if Rousseau started immediately, he’d be ahead of Chase Young in sack count. I hope he gets 4 more today.

The only thing that could prevent him going #1 is a need for a QB. Outside of that....absolutely zero sense.

Even I got to number 1 and needed a QB..I do not pass on this cat at number 1..nobody in this draft is better and nobody in that QB group is clear number one imo

Gus Johnson is the worst. Like, truly the absolute bottom of the barrel. As in, I would rather hear Joe Buck narrate granny **** than listen to Gus Johnson call a game.

That said - Chase Young is a friggin beast. There’s no avoiding that. GR is obviously a monster in his own right. But it’s ok to acknowledge great talent even if it’s not in orange and green.

Not saying i agree, but we've seen QBs overdrafted for decades. When a team needs one and has a favorite, they trade up to make sure they get their guy.

Chase has power man right now he's better then Greg....in time who knows but Greg hasn't hit his peek yet and chase is already maxed out

Chase is one of the quickest off the snap and has incredible bend around the corner. It's sick how quickly he can get under the outside arm of the tackle.

Yea to me Greg is great but Chase is on another level as of right now and he is playing against tougher OLines

Yea his first step isn't on Chase level.....and Chase gets triple teamed at times. Greg is a beast and I hope he makes the jump next year he's already great
