Ohio State worries me

I think we're going to go undefeated in such a manner that we'll be number one come playoff time.
 
lol at anyone who watched the first two games and thinks the Canes will be in the playoffs at the end of the year. lol update this thread after every game. See you Sunday....
 
As much as I love UM, I don't think your fears will be realized this year.

I dont know....the media gets excited as **** when Miami is winning. If we beat FSU and Clemson, a top 4 ranking is almost automatic. Too bad the possibility of that is slim to none...

What OnTheWater is saying is that we SHOULD be in a position to actually worry about playing for an NC, instead of the Coastal, or wondering if we could beat FAU.

I have us going undefeated in the regular season but losing to Wake in the ACCCG. It will be close (21-15) but we'll fail on 4th down around Wake's 2 inch line. Maybe the committee will vote Miami in the playoffs because of Al's 50-51 4th down conversion rate.
 
The players are good enough to make the playoff, but even the 2001 talent couldn't win under Al.

This OTW has quietly redirected the narrative of this board from one of sheer doom to a daring prospect seduced by an outlook of our old legacy of championship competition.
 
I don't know what you haters are missing, it's abundantly clear that this Canes squad is the class of the South. FAU would hang 40 on anybody else in the ACC and we held them to a paltry 20. They didn't even rush for 300 yards against us, how's that for proof of huge improvements!!! I'm a little worried about the semifinal matchup against TCU/Baylor but I know that brick by brick this wefense will #ignorethenoise and shut them out and we will roll into the final as a slight underdog...and we all know that since Al has proven to be a great big game coach so though Ohio State is a juggernaut we will be really well prepared #Dale and we'll work our butts off and it will start with Al.
