Ohio State game?

Sad Cry GIF by Piñata Farms: The Meme App

My Jets are gonna take him 2nd overall, I know it's coming
Cheer up, I was once a 'Canes and Jets fan too...After zero hours of therapy and no medications, I dropped the Jets and felt much better; even having the fortitude to survive Randy, Al, and Manny.

Yeah, rooting for the Randy-Al-Manny Hurricanes AND the Jets?

I think Robert Downey Jr. said something about that once...

We had Tate making business decisions in that game. Downs is definitely legit, though.

Styles reminds me a lot of Ryan Shazier, where he is relying moreso on his freaky athleticism, but still needs work on diagnosing plays. It took Shazier a couple years to get adjusted in the league, so Styles might just need some time to develop, especially since he is still relatively new to the position.

Does everyone not remember all the pre game hype of Styles being credited with no missed tackles all season until Fletcher ran him over? I think he had to come out of the game and get checked out. He came back in, but never played to his normal level after that hit. This is another team I am going to watch closely. I am looking for them to take that UGA, Bama slight step back this season. I just think with this much draft talent lost (per usual), but adding in the 30 transfers out also, they have a drop off. They lost some serious talent to the portal. Their fans were rattled over the portal. We shall see.

In Reese's last six games of the season (including one playoff game), he had zero sacks. He only had 1 tackle vs Indiana in Big 10 championship game, and he had 7 tackles vs us. Dude was non-existent since 11/1.
Reese is a potential pick. As an edge going into the nfl he wont be effective immediately but maybe he could be elite eventually

Recap:

1. Furious Styles was dope asf. Sonny? Not so much. Phvck Sunny Styles.
2. Reese's Peanut Butter cups? Yup. Reese's Pieces? Yup. Reese Witherspoon, aw heII yeah. Reese the Buckeye? Phvck Arvel Reese.
3. Carnell Lake was a great player as well as Carnell Cadillac Williams. Chris Cornell could hit them high notes. Carnell Taint? Phvck that T-Rex armed b.!tch.
4. Caleb Downs is pretty worthy of the hype, but he's a Buckeye so phvck him too.

Reece has an 11% win rate as a pass rusher. For context, Micah and Abdul Carter were both 20%+ win rate guys. They can make the comparison all they want but it’s not that
But he runs fast and his arm length is good. Another contrast, Bain's win percentage overall was 23.5%, 29.9% on passing downs.

lol don't underestimate them
That’s what my boy says he’s a die hard Jets fan. They failed at HC. They operate like Miami before Mario. They do weird things man just like my giants. We caught the Jets disease for years, hopefully that’s over with a real culture builder.

It was only two months ago and I remember Downs being a dominant difference maker. And Smith being uncoverable. But I don't really remember Styles, Reese and Tate dominating the game like you'd expect given the hype during the combine. Am I mistaken on this? My memory of Tate is him short arming a ball when he saw the safety coming for him. I went and looked up his stats and the guy did nothing against us and Indiana.

Did Reese and Styles take over the game like Bain and Mesidor did. It's not an apples to apples comparison since Ohio State was weaker on the Oline but if you're a top 5 pick, I'd expect them to have dominated.
Outside of the hit on Mali..what did downs do? He is Overrated to me!
