Pretty sad that Ohio State can come to South Florida and take whoever they want from Folden. He's such a loser he can't even win any local battles with a school in Ohio.

I think ultimately Gibson maybe just wanted to go to a better program? So do you think if Golden told him he could get a shot at QB, he would still have not come here?

I don't care what the reason or excuse is. Folden gets dominated in his backyard by a school in Ohio. Consistently.

Unfortunately when we're where we are now we're gonna lose top flight kids to OSU, FSU , Bama and plenty of other programs that are elite right now. That's on Golden, Shannon and especially the BOT.....for installing trash coaches for too long.

Why anybody surprised? Kid was never a QB talent and was never going to anything but a WR. It was easy to convince him to play WR because they realistically told him he wouldn't see the field if ever at QB for at least 3 years.

yet another one that fell for it. yet when we tell them the truth they go to other schools and get lied to with no backlash. could you imagine the public outcry he would have with the media in south florida right now.

Exactly. Some of the local "coaches" and handlers would be all up in arms and attacking the staff for lying to the local kids who's dream it was to play at the "U." But when other coaches do it, not a peep.

I wonder? I would think it would be different if that coach was here. Nobody, especially high school coaches, would question the likes of saban, Meyer, JJ, etc. They would probably think it was for the best if those successful coaches did it. Now I admit, if Albert Golden pulled that, he would get roasted! He just isn't allowed to do same things other coaches that win can. Nobody trusts him, plain and simple.

THIS^^^^^^^^^^ You dont question greatness, especially one that has recently won a championship with a backup's backup at QB.This is also why people on here have gotten upset over things like when they did 'The Program' exercise. Golden wants people to get off his back then he has to start winning, like Butch did. Everyone questioned Butch, said he sucked, didnt know what he was doing, flew banners, did not go to games to show a sign of protest until he started to win.
