Ohio State AD says recruits are demanding money to visit campus

Wait till SMU starts swinging for the fences... they have 40 years worth of bags piled up..
SMU recruiting is already ramping up. A 4 star QB and WR in the 2025 class since the ACC announcement. They will out-recruit the Wake Forest, BC and Syracuses of the ACC. Don't be surprised when they get some Eric ****erson level dudes again.

All of this talk about "bags" is 5 years old. John Ruiz created the template for paying players via payroll. All taxes are settled when the players get their direct deposits. Yes, you can hire someone on payroll for a weekend if you want to. If a high school recruit sends out a tweet for your company then it's a tax write-off and legal in many states already. There are no "under the table" $50,000 cash app payments. That's stupid.

What? Players are getting paid? When did that **** start? I always thought they flew into town and got a new car to drive home in. HA

In an alternate timeline, what happens if he reveals a long list of names of recruits who demanded this. With text messages and other proof.

1. Does it help or hurt Ohio State with recruits going forward?
2. Does the NCAA render all of the players cited as ineligible for college sports?
If you are at an SEC school, all good. Everyone else....

I believe that was the center of the Cam Newton case. They found he took money but didn't attend the school that paid him, so he wasn't punished

I agree. However it is somewhat satisfying seeing all the cheating bag schools whining and crying about something that has leveled the playing field to a large degree(along with the portal).
Bag schools gonna bag. The *****ing, whining and crying are just diversions. Paying NIL money, still dropping bags for visits, meals, even if the kid takes a huge dump they’re gonna bag it. The more **** changes the more it remains the same.

As @Rellyrell said, this is not what the Supreme Court ruled on. But, just like medical marijuana, the ruling was twisted into what those who were pushing for NIL wanted in the first place - the ability to pay players (and recruits) without NCAA intereference. As a result, we have situations like with Nico Iamaleava and Jaden Rashada, the D-Bag Cormani, and plenty of others. This goes way beyond "let the kids get their bag." I can just feel my frustration with college football rising and as a result, I feel my interest waning which is a real bummer. I don't think I'm in the minority on this either.

Now for the rest of you, GET OFF MY LAWN!

It might have been $5,000.01.

Or someone asked to be able to throw Porter’s yellow flag at a practice. That’s a huge no. Kept in a crystal display case even more secure than their illgotten national title, that’s only for use in future national title games against Miami.
That’s why even if I Despise The Gottdamm šŸ€ and I mean I hate those ******* even going as far as refusing to eat Lucky Charms as a kid for the hate of the Leprechauns and my mother said ok then Fockin Corn Flake’s for you thenšŸ˜‚šŸ¤£. I hope they skull Fock the **** out the The Nutcrackers and we need some of them cruits they have committed

Keep it the way it is, they wanted it and got total chaos. Lmao the NCAA doesn’t know what to do šŸ˜‚
