Players from Miami

With what the Miami players showed this week, it's almost impossible to figure out how the Hurricanes finished 6-7 this season. Tight end Clive Walford showed better athleticism than expected – especially on a diving catch Wednesday – and should be back in the discussion as being the first tight end drafted. Wide receiver Phillip Dorsett relied on his speed to beat defensive backs, whether he was working the slot or outside. Both of those players could be second-round picks. Linebacker Denzel Perryman looked as expected before he got injured. Cornerback Ladarius Gunter showed flashes. Really, that's all he needed to do. At 6-foot-1 and 203 pounds, a team is going to love Gunter's length and ability to get his hand up and tip away passes.

7 losses.

I know the answer is probably "no" but do you think that revelations like this from "experts at a higher level" might make anyone at the university take another look at the whole situation? Maybe there are some supporters who maybe felt the talent was at a certain level...but now they see how these guys are exploding and NOW it hits them that the talent was much better than they thought??

I know...I'm grasping.

And even if some don't admit it from Blake James on up, stuff like this only makes the point further that Al has really fumbled.

No chance in ****. If anything, they think these kids performing well at camps is vindication of the job Goblin is doing.

In Donna's world, Girlden has done an amazing job for a first year head coach.

Buddy of mine who is a college coach told me that UM was the running joke at the coaches' convention a couple weeks ago. "How do you go 6-7 at Miami with all that talent? No coaching changes?"

Joke is even funnier now.

I have little doubt that Golden and co. are the laughing stock of the college football inner-circle.

What they have "accomplished" in 4 years is astounding.

With national championship level talent, does a losing season make this the worst coaching debacle in college football history?

All these people care about is getting paid without having to work.

Seriously it's worse then it looks.. Of the 6 Wins, 2 were against FAMU, and Arkansas State?

What if those 2 teams were replaced by real opponents? If a team had a Heart Beat and was half way decent, it was 50-50 whether The U could pull out a win.. How this administration can not see what a terrible Coach Al(batross) Golden is mind boggling.. He's not an X,O guy, he's not a teacher, nor a motivator..

Frustrating

The ACC must be ecstatic that Frauden and his merry bunch of clowns are back in 2015.

Last year the refrain was, "No talent, that's why we lost to Duke and Virginia Tech the way we did." Keep in mind that last year in addition to this group we also had Hurns, Linder, Robinson, and Henderson...all of whom made plays this year as rookies for their respective teams.

Give it a break. Geez. We had night games, road games, scholly reductions and the cloud. Not to mention upset fans flying banners over the stadium. With everything stacked up against us we were lucky to win more than two games. This is really Foldens first real year coming up.

The coaches have been the joke on this board for years.

The deer in headlight look fatty had when asked about his porous defense after nebraska was the telltale sign that this guy cannot coach in the "big league". And I quote that because the ACC coastal is the ******* WAC of the power 5
