Leaving the only 3 time All American in the history of the program off of the all-time starting team is grounds for a declaration of Formal Fraud:

AMEN! The guy was beast in college as well as in the pros! Incredible talent!!

Agreed. KWII was that guy who you knew was the best player on the field, but too often it didn’t get proven - certainly not to the point your eyes expected.

Franks was underappreciated then and now. Beast. And Shockey was shockey. Gronkish. Olsen could well have been every bit as good as those guys if he’d had a QB at UM. He had the tools.
K2's stats, and really that '03 season was the start of the fall... Coker was showing true colors there. We still havent got back to that level of talent, although last year's D wad the closest so far imo. But that '03 D was something.... Taylor, Vince, Vilma, Rolle, DJ and a bunch of other really great players.

Dirty piece of **** cheap shot

Here's the play. Stick around for a replay. Rusty's double-teamed, snapper seemingly dives (I think he was trying to cut Mark Caesar) as the double team pushes Rusty in that direction. Barrow gets f***ing heated at the refs about the injury, telling the refs to their faces it was not exactly the result of clean play.

If the Q is shifted to all time starting unit, man it’s tough.

QB: same, Walsh, Kelly, Kosar, pick whatever order you want
WR: same: Irvin, Johnson, then Wayne and E. Brown
RB: Edge, O. Anderson followed by McGahee and Portis, I think. Bunch of options. Chuck Foreman deserves mention.
TE: same, Franks, Shockey, KWII, but Dennison deserves mention also.
OL: McKinnie, Harrah, Searcy, Otto, +?????. Tough call on OL. Need to think about who would round out that 5.

DE: Hendricks, Stubbs, IMO. Maybe an old time can comment on E. Edwards. D. Smith also. Medearis I always liked. Hawkins deserves mention.
DT: Still J. Brown, Sapp, Kennedy, Maryland.
LB: Lewis, Morgan, Barrow. Bunch of guys can be considered for next 3.
S: Still Taylor, Reed, Blades + D. Dub. But old timers may say Burgess Owens.
CB: Still McNeil, Rolle, Starks, Buchanon, imo

If it werent for Frank Gore's injuries, he'd be right there with Edge. McGahee's '02 season was so dominant though... Only RB that made me hold my breath like him in a season was Reggie Bush.

Since '05 I think your list is solid, I would make a couple of changes though...

WR: Ahmmon Richards & Jeff Thomas are better than those guys IMO.
TE: Herndon > Epps
DL: Campbell, Bailey, Willis, Jackson
CB: Elder & Burns deserve some consideration
