Coley's offense can't sustain drives with his play calling. Been like 10 in almost 2 yrs....He shoots his load in the first quarter or series and that's it....offensive game plan is over.

Did you not see the game? Offense was barely on the field. Not defending coley cause he sucks too, but the loss was because of the defense.

No doubt, every phase is a disaster. Just prior to posting that, I was reliving the 3rd and goal tunnel screen, that reverse to Waters, the lack of commitment to the running game and the continued 3rd down shlt-fest.

Doing my best to forget another abortion on the defensive side and the complete destruction of special teams.

ya we had some poor offensive calls but we only had the ball like 6-7 times total all game. 3 times the entire second half. the offense really can't be at fault here since they were barely on the field at all

The offense only had 5 opportunities to convert on 3rd down in the whole game. This falls on the D. Even if the offense goes 4 for 5 on 3rd downs they still lose the game. No D sucks.

Coley is FAR from perfect as a play caller. That 3rd and goal tunnel screen was an awful call. Awful. However, with the way our defense and special teams have played, we have ZERO margin for error on offense. We have to score ever possession. Touchdowns, not field goals. Even if we drive, stall and flip the field it still doesn't matter. So now we have an offense with zero margin for error and a true freshman QB starting that is going to make errors. It's a recipe for disaster. We didn't have the ball enough to even have a chance. We would have had to score every single possession tonight to win. That's not probable, but it's what we have to do. It ******* sucks

To me, this is so much worse and soft-shouldered than the soft shoulderedness that Philadelphia CB showed a while back whining about Chip Kelly's practices. Not to mention a huge slap in the face of anyone who has repped Swagger at night.

Y'all remember Bryan Pata and company taking care of business, 27-7 in Blacksburg at night? Bodyslamming Marcus Vick around like nothin? **** Al Golden.

I was at that game!

To be on topic, I was a Golden supporter. Now I am not. I like him as a person, but not as the head coach of Miami. It is pretty sad that we have reached the level where we are already looking forward to the future as fans of Miami halfway through a season. I would love to see someone like Mark Stoops get hired. We need a proven coach. Stop trying to find the next great thing.

I feel like he really does want to do his best and does care for the players. That is why I like him. He just isn't cutout to be the coach here.
