It's hard to believe that the next coach would inherit an initial class worse than Al's regardless of how many decommit we just need someone soon and someone players will want to play for
 
To the recruits in this class, please note that ALL the fans have been more worried about YOU than Al leaving. We will have a Cane defense again! It is all about THE U not some coach. Unlike other chump schools where a coach wins 2 NCs in 30 years and is a god, we have 4 different coaches win 5 NCs because it is about U --- the players. Stay with THE U.

I have been telling all the idiots on these boards that when Golden leaves as they are pushing him out the door,

we lose several great players

and replace Golden with another mediocre coach. thus ensuring another 5 years of average teams.

I wish this fat **** would have left ANY other time but 1 month before this class got here. This class was going to be special and begin to load up the talent. **** will be in shambles w/in one week. **** bruh.

ah, but all the geniuses on here don't care about losing another 5 starters because "petrino will save the program"

when there is no chance in **** Petrino will ever coach at the University of Miami.

so we lose 5 studs who could have made this a very good team, and have to start all over again on another 3 year plan with yet another middling coach hired by Shalala

These young guns from here were too young to witness those early 2000s canes but they sure know about them and they also know all the freaks in the NFL. Butch did that, bring him and they will come.

A ****ing coach that will stay for longer than 3 years and bolt. Something has to change. Not fair to the players or fans like us who gets ulcers and high blood pressure everytime a coaching vacancy college/NFL opens.

Oh, and ***** Shalala. She looks like the main character from the scary movie Leprechaun.
