A few will leave, but a majority of the class will stay, especially if some of the key recruiters stay on like Hurlie, Barrow, Coley. Those are the coaches that did all of the recruiting and relationship building. Not so much Golden and whoever he'll take with him (D'Onofio).

Only the biggest academic scandal in NCAA history - that is why Butch won't be hired here. I have nothing aganist his coaching or recruiting, but the last thing this program needs is more NCAA investigations.

2. He was cleared of any wrong doing by the NCAA

3. what does that have to do with "shorten the climb and got caught"? there were no recruiting violations, Butch built a loaded defense and UNC on the verge of being an ACC power and most importantly he knows what the U means and WANTS to be here

I understand that line if thought, but the guy was stockpiling NFL talent at UNC in his late 50's - I'll take my chances. Also, the guy still hasn't won any championships as the head guy... I'm sure he would like to cap his career off with one.

At this point, Al's radio silence tells me all I need to know. All of the BS insider sources are just mind numbing.

I just hope that this administration doesn't **** this hire up. Bring in the right guy, give him the resources to surround himself with the right staff, and cut them loose to try to salvage this recruiting class because if it falls apart we are ****ed.

I choose to believe that we will find the right man for the job this time.

Stoops at Al's salary probably won't happen, butch would tho, what about our old offensive coordinator Jedd F, bobby p might to. Not sure about any big names tho. We have a history of starting cheap.

Why do you keep bringing up **** *** Mark Stoops? What the fck has that dumpy little clown ever done? All he did was get used this year.

Contrary to dumb message board musings, UM is NOT broke, and UM can absolutely pay anyone in college football a competitive salary. UM pays guys what they are worth. They're smart that way. Why overpay a lump of **** like Shanntard or Big Fat Al? UM tried to get Chris Petersen last time around, but he didn't want to leave the West Coast. They would have had to pay him at least $3.5M.

If UM wants a guy like James Franklin, then we could pay him more than he's making at Vandy. And it would be a MUCH better gig. He'd clean up recruiting here.

UM could turn this into a gigantic positive by hiring a great replacement like Petrino, Franklin, or even Butch. Any of those guys would be a MONSTER upgrade over this current lump. This lumpy chump we got now is nothing but cheap window dressing.
