I'll enjoy lookiing at his wife. Just don't want a longterm contract because she'll get old if he stays too long. Does anybody even know what Mrs. Paterno or Mrs. Bowden looked like? Did anyone even want to know?
 
By this time, if Golden hasn't diespensed with the rumors, he is ******* us and/or leaving.

Doubt a coach would let his program become a source of mockery and farce during recruiting season, when two words by him would put it all to rest.

supposedly PSU folks were to meet with him today, but were snowed in. Tomorrow.
 
Carl Selmer is available. He's in his 90's, so he won't outlive his contract! Plus he did win 5 games in 2 years.Kerry Baker can be the QB coach.
 
James Franklin = Al Golden.

Of his 8 wins this year: Austin pea, Umass, UAB......four wins against three non-bowl teams in UF, UK, Wake(barely), and Tenn. one win against a mediocre and injury decimated UGA.

They lost to every ranked team they played, and were DEMOLISHED by aTm and Mizzou (the two top 10 teams they played).

Give Golden a paint job and pay raise and it's the same guy.

At this point, Al's radio silence tells me all I need to know. All of the BS insider sources are just mind numbing.

I just hope that this administration doesn't **** this hire up. Bring in the right guy, give him the resources to surround himself with the right staff, and cut them loose to try to salvage this recruiting class because if it falls apart we are ****ed.

I choose to believe that we will find the right man for the job this time.

No way they run from the DC of our last NC team? So, maybe you mean we should bring back Randy, since he was the defensive coordinator of our 2001 team, not Schiano. Check your facts.

I think most will stay but the two that are cause for concern are arguably our two most important, bk and tv.
