I hear this guy's available. Head coaching experience. Former Assistant coach of the year. Probably be able to really relate to the kids, build bridges with local coaches.

In a ten day span we may lose our head coach, lose several local kids to FSU, lose highly regarded commits, get embarrassed on national tv in a bowl game and FSU win a national title.

People fall in love with his personality. He talks a great game. Good ambassador for any program.

I think people are starting to worry its all hollow used car salesman trying to sell you a lemon.



The defense 3 years in still as bad as FAU. A month to prepare and 0-13 on 3rd down.

He looks, as does his record, a lot better on paper than what he has actually accomplished, he is a charismatic personality, salesman and CEO, he just can't coach and is less than flexible and has lost sight of how bad his DC is.

I've had the creeping suspicion that we are under some kind of evil Santeria curse before but this is ridiculous. We need an exorcism.

I haven't got a clue as to the next coach would be, but I would hope he has a defensive background and be able to keep Coley, Hurley, Barrow for local recruting.
 
Butch could be brought in on the cheap with everything that has happened with him. Then you could use that money for assistants. Butch would come here on a mission to get what he deserved the first time around.

Straight up, something getting lost in all of this. I don't care if he bolts but if he does it undoes any good he did the last three years. The whole angle that he stuck by us through sanctions is null and void. I've already drawn the line in the sand. I don't care if dude comes back, even if we lose this class. Blow it all up and start again if need be, cause that is what Al is threatening anyway......

Coach O has moved on since then and changed his life.

If we have to hire a new coach I hope that Blake and the powers that be are prepared to make an intelligent decision, not the cheap route not the flashy route.

No way they run from the DC of our last NC team? So, maybe you mean we should bring back Randy, since he was the defensive coordinator of our 2001 team, not Schiano. Check your facts.

Advice I was given during the process: Commit to a school bc of the school + players NOT coaches. The avg coachs stay @ a school is 3 yrs.
