I say we forget about Golden...he is a loser! We are Canes, and that means that you either win or gtfo...next coach needs to be Butch!

Butch is 62 years old.. recruiting at that age alone is a grind excluding the coaching aspect of the job (game planing and coaching on game day). It may be a difficult task for him. And yall know how these sofla coaches are with their prospects and the games they play often with their recruitment
 
he is not al golden. he can go to recruits and say "this is the list of guys i put in nfl. this is list of pro bowlers and this is list of hall of famers." he is not coming from temple.
 
My question with Butch is not his age but his passion and willingness to recruit and coach at a high level.

I thought the same and was gonna ask but we were extremely busy. Trust me this dude was definitely a big shot at Temple, also didn't want to offend him. Maybe the situation when Al left was different 3 yrs ago. I mean, it is TEMPLE....Lol
 
franklin is another al golden. this time they have to go for a stoops, butch, etc. not a guy who hasnt been at big time program.

62 isn't that bad, proven coach, a lot of connects thru the coaching circle, that said I like to give stoops or strong the first crack at it

How do you know he was the AD @ Temple. You do realize the old Athletic Director isn't there anymore right? Did he have the name tag : Former Temple Athletic Director?

Seems legit. Calls D'Onofrio douchebag, says he cant coach, and the players wont play for him...then promptly offers him the HC gig.
