butch has a great coaching tree and apparently sileo said he told him he wants the U job back.

Seriously though, Butch ****ed up whatever chance he had to return to the U because of the academic scandals at UNC. It doesn't matter if he he himself was not personally involved, he was the CEO and thus responsible for what happened.

Also, I'd like the NCAA to stay as far away as humanly possible from Coral Gables, as if we needed another major scandal on top of rebuilding purgatory.

Not that he wouldn't be a slam-dunk hire (he would be), its just that Donna ain't touching that baggage.

its based on canesport.com honestly, though, for him to be quiet for 2 days speaks volumes.

The only three that would make me happy are Stoops, Strong or Butch. Because we won get any of those I say we keep Golden

Said Golden would take the PSU job, it's what he's always wanted. I asked why he didn't take it last time and he said despite rumors he wasn't offered. Said Miami lied to him, he asked straight up if anything was brewing and they said no. I asked about No D and his reply was "douchebag, our kids wouldn't play for him, bad coach and personality." Said they were playing Army and No D wanted him to clear the front section because they were reading his play card, he told him no, it's the ARMY....LMAO. Said No D didn't accept the Temple position when Al left because he knew the team didn't respect him.

But said guy was going to offer D'Onoffrio the job after Golden. Sounds legit.

Congrats to my boy Al Golden, a true Penn Stater. We rocked the Pats Christmas in 1992. Great hire
