We can only be so lucky. I'm ready for a more aggressive mindset.

What about Pat Hill, the former Fresno St. coach. That dude knows how to motivate and light a fire under his teams even if he did struggle at the end at Fresno St.

Bye Al!!!! lol....

I don't know why but I really think this could be a good move for both parties... Al can do well in NJ, and the northeast and we can find a coach who will let the kids play.. Don't be a fool Miami is still a lucrative job..

I would love the offensive coordinator for Oklahoma Josh Heupel(sp) but man he dismantled Saban's defense last night.

That's why the last time we were hiring our top choices were Al Golden, Randy Edsall, and Marc Trestman. But of course we are still a lucrative job.

Al ain't leaving! The only talk about him leaving is on this board!

Geez, stop scaring recruits with this shiite.

:nelsonhaha:

What rock you living under, fam?

Not only are fans of UM on this board discussing this, but it is also occurring on every other UM forum, Penn St. boards, national forums, sopcial media, local media, etc.

Yet, according to this dude, it's only here. :rollcanes:

Homers gonna homer

According to penn state fans golden has landed in philly this morning for his interview.

perfect day to fly to the northeast. i would have preferred that al stay but if he is even thinking about leaving then let him go and bring in a guy that wants to be here. this guy turned out to be no different than any of the others. lied threw his teeth about how this was a destination job.

I see it this way Golden is going to stay make more money but UM is going to say Dorito leaves next year if things don't turn around that's concession.

Then we will be losing at least 4 games, probably 5+ next season.

I can assure you UM will lose hundreds, if not thousands of season tickets if D Ono is retained.

Let's hope our admin, is ahead of this and calling coaches to gauge interest. Hopefully have a list of coaches ready by the time goldens plane lands in PS. I don't think we have time for a service to come in like the last time.
Doubtful. They'll probably take time to hire a consultant, conduct an excessively long search/interview process only to land Mario Cristobal or someone on his level.

Golden is amazing, he is everywhere, he is nowhere, what up as there is speculation everywhere and no real factual information anywhere. Sure there is lots going on, waiting for some real leaks with substance and source.

Short list
MIch St. D- cord
Ed orgeron (sp?)
Smart
Mark stoops
Strong ( prolly not)
Feel free to add to the list

Trestman is coaching in the NFL.

No we lose golden we will lose brad kaaya, travonte valentine, potentially others that are apart of our recruiting class....

But don't you see... we'll get Chud, Orgeron, Schiano, and Butch and next year we'll win the MNC - says the idiots on this board.

If true, he might as well take the job or look elsewhere. Miami fans were warm on him before, how are they going to feel now that he is proving to be a true used car salesman.
