Would You Be Upset If Al Left For Pedo State?

Al Golden is a pillar who's core values would be missed. He's rebuilt this program, brick by brick, as the cloud has cleared, he's worked his tail off. Penn State would be lucky to have him.

I agree. We all dislike D'Nofrio but I don't see how anyone couldn't be thankful of the job Al has done. He's a younger, relatively inexperienced coach who has areas of improvement to wok on, but he's done a good job here. I think if he stays he'll get it figured out in the next year or two. Maybe Miami won't be a contender in that period but will be on the way. If he turns down Penn State this time he may be here for the long hail something most bigger name coaches wouldn't do.

if you think james coley is a bad offensive coordinator you probably should stop watching football because you don't understand what is happening in front of your eyes

Are you ****ing serious? You're an idiot if you think he's a good OC.
He has to be trolling us.

no please seriously quote me more stats about total yardage and what happened in the "russell athletic bowl"
Yes, how dare I bring facts into the discussion. Keep telling yourself we had a top 5 offense this year. I'll stick with reality.

I wonder if PPG helps, as that is the most important stat. I think we were around 34 before the RAB.

D'Onofrio is underrated IMHO. If I'm Penn State, I insist on taking both of them as a package deal. They're the time to be there for 40 years and instill core values learned from JoePa into the community.

Umm. He never called a play in his life until this year. And it showed. He makes me miss Patrick Nix. Just go back and watch the Louisville game. What a joke.

While I agree that he was sub par this season, let's also not forget the train wreck of a QB that is Stevie "Wonder" Morris. The guy has ZERO vision and goes to his first read 85℅ of time whether its open or not. Very difficult to call plays when only one read is going to be thrown to. Not saying he's great, but given that he's a good recruiter and just had his first season calling plays since FIU with a brain dead QB gives me reason to say we should give him at minimum one more year.

PPG is most important?

Mark, is that you?

Just messing with ya. But really, is that you?

Unfortunately, Golden isn't going anywhere

Be careful what you wish for. Maybe Miami could do better but short of hiring Petrino, or somehow convincing Franklin or Strong I don't think there is a slam dunk available. Petrino isn't getting hired. Who knows what Chud would do. Miami doesn't have the money for someone like Gundy if OK State really wants to keep him.

Sorry. Missed the sarcasm. My mistake.

This is all going to blow up in their face if this results in just a raise for Al. Just wait, they'll be praying for tweets from Danny Boy then.

until we get a leader that is actually playing we will continue to be a normal program. You need a QB that the team rallies around and has "it". We haven't had that since Dorsey. True Dorsey didn't win the locker room over with his ability it was his leadership. We just haven't had that guy the team can believe in at that position.

FSU fans wanted Fisher out of there
No one had heard of Summlin before Johnny M
Larry Coker won with Dorsey
UF can't even get to a bowl game this year because they have no QB

I can keep going on but until we find that guy, we will continue to struggle IMO

:ibisroflmao:

Let's see, Big Al gets a raise. Big Al gets to go back to his alma mata. Finally, big al gets to keep his buddy Dorito for at least five more years and salvage his best friendship. In Miami, Big Al has to get rid of his buddy if not there will be 15,000 fans after Dorito gives up his 1st 500 yard game. Big Al is on the Hot seat. Folks Big Al is leaving. If he stays and Dorito stays also then get the paypal account ready and the banner plane on the Tarmac.

this is why James coley needs to do whatever necessary to keep kaaya. I feel Defensive line is second priority and Wyche, Valentine, and Thomas (not worried) all need to be in orange and green

The fact that I find myself rooting for him to go to PSU tells me all I need to know about my confidence in him.
