The same people *****ing about our Admin not investing money into the football program are throwing out ridiculous replacements. I really hope he stays

That's all speculative.

If we hired Petrino, Kaaya would be a fool not to learn from an offensive guru like Petrino.

And Penn State still has two years of bowl bans and scholarship sanctions. It's not a lock that studs like Jenkins and Hester would want to follow him there and be part of a rebuild. Gayot is not a back-breaking loss. Valentine and Thomas can be salvaged, as well as many other players.

You hire someone like Petrino, and I bet he holds the class together.

Kayaa has probably never met Petrino in his life. He already has a good relationship with Mora. UCLA is home for him. Plus if Petrino comes in, Coley is going to leave because he is not calling plays. So what do you put the % of Kayaa staying in that scenario 15%, if we are lucky.
 
The question on Cristobal is why did he leave Miami. Everyone is ****ed at him. Maybe he saw how incompetent the staff is and flew out of there.

CaneInsider has learned that Al Golden spoke to a source inside the Miami Hurricanes’ football program and said emphatically, “I’m not leaving,” earlier today. The source requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the current situation.
CaneINsider believes that coach Golden is committed to finishing the work he started at Miami based on the characterizing of the sources comments. Golden is set to close this year’s 2014 recruiting class, which his widely seen as top 10 by all recruiting services and stay in Miami where his family has found a home. Something he’s said on numerous occasions previously.
Though highly attractive to Penn State, Golden may be using this opening in State College as a chance to increase his salary at Miami for himself and his staff. Miami coaches are in the bottom third of salaries nationally, in college football according to a source.
The source also indicated that Golden communicated directly with the staff issuing a firm directive to continue to recruit the current class with the understanding that he will remain the head coach.
 
That sneaky ******* knew he had to replace his best friend so he feigned interest in the PSU job for the chance to pitch Coach No D for the spot. The old bait and switch.

Dude, you are total debbie downer. This happens every time there is a coaching change. Some recruits will be lost, some recruits will moan and whine and will be put to ease once a new coach comes in.

Because this was my worst nightmare. Him leaving NOW with this class on tap. This was the class that could have put us back in the game. Valentine, Kaaya, Yearby, that OL class, Chad Thomas, Hester, Jenkins, man it was SICK. That was our future. If it comes apart, we are going to be PRAYING for 8-4 seasons under whoever the new nobody coach is going to be. You know as well as I do we are not getting any "A list" top coach in here.

This is going to be starting ALL over again. F8cking back to square one. This is a DISASTER that this happened THIS year. IMHO.

I can see Valentine leaving but he was shaky from the get go, despite his quotes.

Yearby will stay and so will most of the others - guaranteed. Kayaa is a wild card but I think if a strong offensive guy gets brought in and perhaps Coley is retained, Kayaa will stay.

Yearby came here because of Coley. PERIOD. If Coley stays, we may keep Yearby. If Coley goes, Yearby is GONE. So will Kaaya, Hester, Jenkins, Valentine. Id say we have a SHOT to keep Chad Thomas, Moten is 50/50.

What you guys dont realize is these guys are all TOp blue chippers. With AG gone, and no one at the helm for weeks, the Lions will POUNCE and tear us to shreds. There are a TON of top programs that covet these kids. Once the flip them, say goodnight Gracie.

I didn't think so, either, until I heard from someone that he has behind-the-scenes support.

In this 24-hour news cycle culture, Petrino's scandal is irrelevant, and it gets more and more irrelevant with each passing day. You got an elite coach rotting in whatever-the-**** Kentucky.

Go get him.

We are like a bunch of battered wives who won't leave because they are afraid to be alone. Golden will continue to capitalize on our fear, **** he doesn't have to change a **** thing if he threatens to leave every year. When do we call his bluff?
