Actually, O'Brien set the bar pretty high. Didn't PSU win 7 games this year while under the heaviest of NCAA sanctions? PSU fans think they can keep winning regardless of what the NCAA has done. That team is teetering and could easily go 4-8 or worse. If so, they are going to put the blame on the Coach.

I think PSU is looking at a decade of irrelevance. The NCAA sanctions haven't really kicked in yet. It always takes a few years before you really feel it. Look at what happened with us inthe 90s. Our worst seasons happened at the end or after the NCAA penealties were completed. USC is going through the same now, too. Orgeron was able to save their season, but they were on the verge of a 4 win season.

If I were Golden, I keep on the path at UM. WIn. Let someone else fail at PSU...and then take the psu job in about 3-5 years.

Why would you wish this^^^ on the U? I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Let him bolt. The quicker this happens, the quicker we can have a competent HC like Butch or Petrino come in and right the ship.

Wrong. He managed a crisis. He didn't knock the cover off the ball by any stretch, but this is a FAR better job now than when he took over and he's the main reason for that. If he leaves, I think we'll be fine and should thank him for his work here. It could've been a real **** show over the last few years.
 
Idont even care anymore.... If he leaves then sorry a** donofrio leaves.... GTFOH. Our coaches only leave for nfl head coaching jobs or they get fired. They don't leave for another college job......

If it's over then let them tell golden to take a hike. This is a disgrace to be played like this. Lack of respect by the golden one.

You mean losing to Top 25 teams by an average of more than 30 points during his tenure and fielding record setting , historically awful defenses isn't a **** show? Thank him for his handling of the NCAA mess, but he gets an F+ for his corching.
