This officially answers the will I need a game ticket to park and can I tailgate questions. I'm putting this in it's own thread so it doens't get buried in that other parking thread.

OFFICIAL PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

FOR 2026 COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The College Football Playoff (CFP) is sharing the following fan information to ensure that ticketed guests have the best experience at the 2026 CFP National Championship on Monday, Jan. 19. Due to enhanced security measures and additional events and activations surrounding Hard Rock Stadium, fans will see some changes to the regular stadium experience.

Important Information:
  • Guests without game tickets that remain in parking lots after kickoff will be asked to leave by local law enforcement officers.
  • Ticketholders should expect to see an extended security perimeter with layers of ticket checkpoints as they approach the stadium on foot.
    • Fans will have their game tickets scanned while walking from yellow lots (outer) to orange lots (inner). A game ticket will be required to move between the yellow and orange lots throughout pregame.
  • All stadium parking, including at the HRS Express lots, is sold out.
  • Ticketholders are encouraged to be dropped off or take rideshare to either HRS Express location and ride the shuttle to the stadium free of charge.
    • Lot 70 (North): Across the street from Seminole Hard Rock Hotel (5700 S. SR-7, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33314)
    • Lot 95 (South): Golden Glades Parking Garage (16000 NW 7thAve, Miami, FL 33169)
    • Fans will be required to scan their game ticket prior to boarding HRS Express buses.
  • Ticketholders using rideshare services are strongly encouraged to leave the stadium via HRS Express shuttles and then call their rideshare to get them to their final destination.
  • Guests are encouraged to arrive early and allow time for additional security screening.
  • More information is available at www.collegefootballplayoff.com.

So basically, you can drive in without a game ticket, but you can't enter/leave the lot on foot without one. And (supposedly) you're getting kicked out at kickoff.

i think everyone's mindset needs to change. this is not a regular home game. this event is managed by the NCAA not the University nor even HRS.

the quicker you come to accept this, the better your experience will be. make alternative plans if you don't have tickets.
All bets went out the window when the Pres said he was coming. That ends it all

The University just sent out an email for the Watch Party for Watsco.
here it is

This is the correct answer.

I can't stand Radakovich, but this isn't his fault. It's not even his stadium.
