No idea what Cayden was thinking. Pretty sure the fans will want him run out of Durham
I was thinking just the opposite, i.e., Cayden might need/benefit from a fresh start in CG.Cayden can stay in Durham
I said here (and got more than a few down votes for it) during the recruiting process for the Boozers that they should split up when choosing a school. Specifically, that Cayden would be deep in his brother's shadow when it came to establishing his "brand" at Duke, whereas he'd stand on and better demonstrate his own skills elsewhere. They'll send him to Siberia before they take him back after that choke job
Evans' handle on Instagram is "getuhhandup" which is incredibly funny now with how things went downnot sure if i'd be thrilled or super-thrilled if Boozers become Canes, but definitely do not want Isaiah zero-rebounds Evans! guy didn't lift a finger or an eyebrow to challenge the buzzer beater... reminds me of a few threes saw this year from opps left wide open by a defender not far apart.
or he could be thinking - I can be the one to lead duke back next year to winning a title once twin brother leaves. also, I cant fully blame Cayden there bc he should have never gotten the ball. all cam had to do was hold it.I said here (and got more than a few down votes for it) during the recruiting process for the Boozers that they should split up when choosing a school. Well, he has a lifetime brand now. Maybe a new start at UM is what's needed. Doubt it happens though. fwiw, He gave a classy post-game interview.
I think there's a shot somewhere of scheyer on the sidelines screaming get your hand up as Mullins shot the three.Evans' handle on Instagram is "getuhhandup" which is incredibly funny now with how things went down
Dude was born on third base and owns 2 of the biggest choke jobs in back to back years in recent tourney history.Coach of the Year Scheyer with another tourney choke job
It was either (or both) bad coaching or a player lost his composure in the last 10 seconds. No reason to take the ball over half court. Can someone inform me as to why Duke didn't just hold the ball? There were only 10 seconds or so remaining.
Just terrible awareness. Duke seemed in a rush to get the ball upcourt for whatever reason. And after the tunrover they seemed completely disoriented and couldn't man up. And I know it was a 30 ft shot attmept but not running out or even getting your hands up? Just a total and complete Murphy's Law ending for Duke.It was either (or both) bad coaching or a player lost his composure in the last 10 seconds. No reason to take the ball over half court.
And let’s not forget Duke was winning by 2 points. Get fouled, make 2 FT’s and the game is over.
I blame Scheyer because I think he emphasized to be strong with the ball (the lesser Boozer said so after the game), but I didn’t hear a player say that ‘coach told us we didn’t need to advance past half court’. As a Michigan basketball fan this reminds me of Chris Webber calling a TO when there were none to call. The coach has to over emphasize certain things because players have so much more to think about in real time on the floor. Say the same thing 20 times if needed.
