A lot of lazy coaches who don’t value HS basketball causing dudes to follow through the cracks; and they assume, oftentimes rightly so, that bench kids on circuit teams are better than non-aau or non-circuit players.

It’s especially hard for hoopers 6’3 and under.

The winner of that game is going to win it all. Got my hotel and flight booked to cheer on Arizona in indy. Crazy that I got to go a football natty and a final four...........this is the second time this combo has happened for me with the first time being 2001. Im going to enjoy every minute

Two of the three players I hope the Heat Draft this summer are in this game: Nate Ament and Yaxel Lendeborg. The third is Karim Lopez outta Mexico/NBL. If they make the playoffs, all three will probably be gone by 16. At 13, there is a chance one of them are still there.

Hate to see Vernon Carey in Tennessee gear. I believe in taking the siblings of high-level talent even when we miss out — whether by staff’s evaluation or prospect’s choice — on their older family members.

Like it’s so absurd to me that VT didn’t learn their lesson regarding Steph Curry; they still didn’t recruit Seth Curry.


Tyler Hendricks (Taylor Hendricks younger brother) and Jaylen Carey (Vernon Jr’s brother) were right in our backyard without getting heavily recruited by anybody.

Thankfully Jai understands that a modern college basketball team needs about 4 underclassmen who won’t play but are willing to grow & understand they won’t play as freshmen.
