Nope. I like Notre Dame. College football is better when they are great.

Newsflash: Negativity is not an attractant. One of the political parties is remarkably ignorant of that fact, and has been regulating itself for a quarter century via the stupidity. I hate her. Come join me. Oh sure. Do you have anyone else I need to hate?

Canes fans somehow love to hate Ohio State and Notre Dame, and sometimes Alabama and sometimes Penn State, and always Florida State. I probably left out a few. Sound and fury signifying nothing.

I'll save my animosity for the Gators. They earned it, via the Flop and all the subhuman spectator antics during the '70s that properly earned the rub-it-in field goal from Schnellenberger.

Why would we laugh at Notre Dames struggles when we are still a shell of a real team.

We have basically sucked for 12 years + now. And will be slapped again by ND.

We lose to any team with a pulse.

The joke is us until we prove otherwise.
 
If Richt can somehow get a win over Notre Dame, I will be back on board. I am off the reservation right now.

Yes they handled themselves very well in that game.

But as to what Miami is? I'm not sure. We're not the U. We're not any good. Not now. But we're only ever 2-3 classes and a decent coach away from being exceptional or elite.

And I can laugh at Notre Dame because they have to work so freaking hard to be good. They don't have local talent, they aren't nearly as attractive as they used to be, they haven't won anything that matters in multiple decades and they have insane academic standards. And they're keeping a lame duck coach.

As imbalanced as Miami fans expectations are, Notre Dame's are exponentially worse.

They have no geographic advantages and high academic standards and they are still doing far better than us in recent years. So we have grounds to laugh at the state of the ND program? We have no grounds to laugh at any other program.

We are the laughingstock. Most fertile recruiting ground in the country. 7 in a row to FSU. Haven't won a bowl game since W was president. Can't beat any opponent with a pulse. Haven't won the coastal ever. We've been 2-3 classes and a decent coach away for 15 **** years. At some point you just suck until proven otherwise. We suck.

Dammit its frustrating. We single-handedly kept Mike London employed for 3 years longer than he should've at UVA. And if Laron Byrd didn't catch a **** hail mary we could've made it 4. We turned Chase Rettig into a Heisman candidate after his first game of the season. I could go on but it hurts to type this ****.

The 2012 season was achieved largely with Weis recruits. Other than the 2012 regular season Kelly is 45-28. Furthermore Kelly is an offensive guy and the 2012 season was achieved with a great defense, in spite of an anemic offense. I'm not sure where this widespread belief that Kelly is a solid coach who's just having a down year comes from. Even before this year he had gone 8-5 in 3 out of 6 years.

Other than Gene Chizik I don't think there are any coaches who have been to the NC game who have been less impressive the rest of their tenure. Even Clappy never went 4-8 or whatever ND's heading toward this year.
