The AD outright came out today and said corch Kelly will not be fired. Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick says Brian Kelly won't be coaching for his job

This seems like more than a dreaded vote of confidence to me. A vote of confidence usually is cleverly worded i.e. "We are confident in the coach" "The coach is doing a good job." etc. Not outright saying the coach is not being fired.

Seems like they're going to waste an extra year that the corch doesn't deserve at all. I.e. Muschamp in 2014, Golden in 2015, Mike London for about 3 years, (debatably) Paul Johnson this year.

ND haters rejoice.

Dumb @ss post, considering we are playing awful on the offensive side of the ball, with a HC/OC that's been outmatched week in and week out, that we just lost three straight, AND given we go to South Bend next week, after they have a bi-week.

They way our offense is playing that is likely to be a loss. And you want to laugh at ND??? GTFOH with your insanity.

You should be ****ed at Richt and the playcalling, and the fact that we lost three straight (7 straight to FSU), and not worried about ND.

If you can't laugh at Notre Dame you've lost the ability to be a Cane. These days suck mightily but find your pride and chuckle at their miserable ineptitude. They are the embodiment of a dead program.
 
I think we are all in agreement, Miami is going to get their *** kicked. If they're lucky they win 6 games, I'm not sure they win one more game. VT sucks and they kicked our ***.

Wasn't Notre Dame in the BCS championship game this decade? If they are the "embodiment of a dead program," what the **** are we?

Yes they handled themselves very well in that game.

But as to what Miami is? I'm not sure. We're not the U. We're not any good. Not now. But we're only ever 2-3 classes and a decent coach away from being exceptional or elite.

And I can laugh at Notre Dame because they have to work so freaking hard to be good. They don't have local talent, they aren't nearly as attractive as they used to be, they haven't won anything that matters in multiple decades and they have insane academic standards. And they're keeping a lame duck coach.

As imbalanced as Miami fans expectations are, Notre Dame's are exponentially worse.

So, Miami fans are "imbalanced" for being upset over losing to the worst FSU team in a decade playing second stringers and hurt Freshman QB?

Or because some of us think that on any given year Miami shouldn't be getting skulled ****ed by the likes of UNC and VTech?
