Official End of an Era

I cancelled my subscription over 5 months ago. I actually tried to post on the free board and I received a message stating that I was not allowed to post. I spoke with the Mods and they said it was a glitch. However, they never fixed it for me and I was a member since 2001. This site to me is better overall. Nothing compared to the lounge back in the day. I never met anyone from the lounge but it seemed like I knew everyone.
BTW the free boards were about Dannyboy every other post. Killed me with that crap!

I will also be canceling my subscription this month. I've been a paid member on grassy (Canestime) for over a decade.
 
I also cancelled mine 2 months ago. I was a member since 2001-2002. This is by far 50 times better then grassy.
 
I remember the days of grassy.com, a 56k modem, and it was literally me, CanesJim, Cogley, and Swagger, and K9. It was sad to watch it end last year.
 
I'm making my way over. I just can't stand about 10% of the posters on that board who do nothing but slum it up. Of course the death of The Lounge was a travesty as well.

What a cot**** travesty that they let that site implode. Anyway, all for the better. We started this thing and hopefully will be steady and comfortable for another decade+. The key will be experiencing some actual f'in Championships on this board.

Is anyone still over there? Breaks my heart, was over there for 15 years. I was a young man when it started.

Jefe, Wow, blast from the past. I know Cogs is gone now (RIP). But what about the other originals? Are they over here now? I see a lot of familiar names on CIS. I was Canekong and had been on the board since 2003. I stopped posting on Canestime actively 6 months ago, stopped entirely a month or two ago, and stopped even going to the site about about a month ago. Sad but also good. I couldn't stand another Nites or DBC post...

Well Nites does post here and DBC is suppose to be here under a different name.
 
**** those people. Even before it blew up, they mod-ed the **** out of the lounge and let the football and recruiting boards become a zoo.
 
Dropped Canestime last year. Bakas simply didnt put in the effort. Ferman ****ed me off with his recent filtered chat with Robinson. Still a member there and at Inside the U but this sight is pretty good.
