I've witnessed a lot of episodes of "When Mods Think They're Funny". They all end in power trips, selective moderation, massive bannings, and ultimately, said Mod moving to Bolivia.

I do think the selective moderation is a fair point . . . I do want to point out that the best moderation is when someone reports a post. Then the admins and mods are able to look at the post in question. Otherwise, for me, I am reading the board and generally stay with what is being discussed more currently. So if someone called you a $%^&*()*^%$@! unless I happened to read it, would never see it if it were not one of the very top threads when I came to the site.
I have only ever band trolls/spammers.
