This year is only the 2nd time Leach has had double digit wins in his 17 years as head coach.
****, Richt had 10 double digit win seasons in that exact same time span, 9 of 10 in the SEC against better teams than Leach has faced.
He may win here, but he's not a sure thing.

It’s a no brainer. He’s who we should’ve hired back in 2012. He’s an instant fix for the offense. He’s a proven winner who’s won at every stop. And best of all he wants the Miami job and he would come at a reasonable cost. Wario is not the answer, I love butch but he’s too old at this point. It’s time we stop dabbling with retreads and alumni and hire someone who could actually bring an exciting brand of football back to Miami. And for those saying he can’t recruit you’re blind. When he hangs 70 on duke the kids will line up to play in his brand of football. Mark Richt was a recruiter by all accounts and he has out recruiting class looking abysmal. We should be done with CEO type coaches, we need innovators and Leach is the kind of hire you make when you’re serious about winning football games and putting a respectable product on the field.
