**Official Bowl Game Updates Thread**

I follow a really good ACC writer on Twitter (Joe Giglio) and he's about as plugged into the bowl picture in the conference as anyone. Assuming chalk holds (Clemson, Bama and OU win), the Camping World Bowl will likely take NC State and Iowa state and the Gator would then take Miami and another SEC school.

If OU loses, this will bump WVU down to Camping World and apparently the folks there would then want a Syracuse-WVU matchup (old Big East foes). NC State would then go to the Gator.

Please, Lord, anything but Miss. St. I can't handle ******* cowbells for three hours while our offense runs around like the Three Stooges.

Curious as to why? Unless you have personal ties/affinity to Nashville or Miss. St., I would think that would be a very minority opinion among Canes fans. Better than El Paso vs. UAB for sure, but that's not saying much...

Nashville is a great city and since we just recently played south carolina in 2014 i would prefer to play someone else not to mention that they are ranked 18th and would love a chance to beat a ranked opponent to end this season and maybe generate some kind of momentum going into the off season.

LOL I hate the cow bells too, but I'd actually love to play Miss St so we can reveal them as the frauds they are. it is an absolute crime to humanity that they are ranked in the teens. One of the worst examples of SEC poll propping I've ever seen.

Fair enough. I'd MUCH rather play Kentucky, though. Ranked higher and beat the Felons. Probably not an option, I guess.

I mentioned in another thread that if we land the Gator bowl in Jax, @g8rh8rMD will pick up the first 6 rounds of drinks and I will pick up round 7 for CIS members. We will repeat until everyone is s'hit faced.

It's just our little way of welcoming you all to our city! Don't worry about whether or not @g8rh8rMD has agreed to covering up to 18 rounds of drinks. ......That's just small semantics.

Don't worry, if I'm running a little late, @reg agreed to cover the first few rounds for me. I'll definitely "get him back". After game party is it his house and everyone is welcome to crash there.
 
I too have seen rumblings for the Taxslayer bowl. I'd be ok with the Taxslayer bowl. That's a 10 minute drive from the house.
