Am I missing something with why Ohio State opened +2.5 @ Penn State? Braxton Miller is expected to play, and Penn State's marquee wins are over teams who are probably not even that good.

Btw, the line is currently at OSU -1.

Anybody else playing the Fighting Malzahns +4.5 and/or O62 tonight?

That's a tough number. Kinda like the under, but unlikely to play anything. Both teams redzone defenses are pretty good in conference play at limiting touchdowns. Both teams play pretty good defense in conference play.

I've got 5 units on Oklahoma covering 10. I may have to buy some back if I puss out, but that may be the only **** thing I play this week.

/it won't be

Cane, that's my #1 play this weekend as well. I have 3 units on them -9.5 and another on them -7 (the only futures spread I took all year).

I feel really good about that one as well as Oregon State at -3 (bought down when it was at 3.5.)

On TCU +9, Ark State +4.5, Toledo -8, Ball State -5, Arizona State -6, and Texas -21 as well.

Northern Illinois is a play if it hits -6.

I'm obv in the minority on this one, but i'd take the Irish +10.

waiting to see the 1st half spread and total for Oregon/Colorado. Pretty sure i'm laying the entire bankroll on one or both of those.

Look at ND's "road" games this year:

Navy--- in Ireland (no hostility)
Miami --- in Chicago (no hostility)
East Lansing -- only actual road game-- against one of the worst offensive teams in football

They haven't played a true road game against a team worth a ****, and now they are walking into a night road game against a preseason top 5 team that has put up 150 points the last three weeks, meaning they are actually capable of playing offense. Defensively, their worst game they allowed 24 points to a top 5 team in the country, and one of the top offenses in the country, but they lost. ND is lucky when they score 24.

Oklahoma wins this game by ruthlessness. If ND wasn't named ND, this spread would look more like that Alabama-Mississippi State line.

Which begs this question, is this the largest spread (24 points) in a game between two undefeated BCS schools 8 weeks into the season in the history of Vegas?

Norman will be rocking. I got friends going down Thursday to camp out at the game day site. ND will be in for a crazy night and I think OU can hit some deep balls on that secondary.

Still looking at OU but hoping the public will drive down the #

Don't sleep on Colorado St; they aren't bad and Hawaii is absolutely awful this year, and have to travel a short distance. I would have thought Col St would have been a 2 TD favorite

Japan,

Seems like whatever number winds up being Ball State's team total (I'd guess around 35) would be a good bet, no? The 67 may be a bit high for an over/under, but Ball State should score at will, pretty much, no?

I'll play the Army over out of principal but I do like Ball St team total better than the overall #, whatever it is. My book is really slow to release #s.

Seems too good to be true...and you know what often happens when that's the case.

Anyway, I'll probably pass on this one as I like a couple others a lot more.
