Houston/SMU at 42 just before the half. Need 17 more to hit the over, so of course Houston's QB gets knocked the **** out. Fun stuff.

With all the sharps driving down the line in the Oregon game, I'm feeling pretty comfortable about taking Oregon -7.5. Hated it at double digits, but feel at a touchdown, I've got a good chance, just hate Thursday night games in college football goign against the big home underdog. I'm also considering a ladies room bet- I think Oregon's defense is much better than people give it credit for, and Arizona State's has been strong to start this season. A 35-24 type game seems about right to me.

I'm taking the Houston-SMU o58. Houston burned me last week, but I'm thinking they'll be able to move the ball jsut as well against SMU as they did UAB, but instead of kicking 6 field goals inside of 30 yards, they'll get some touchdowns. UAB also had a few costly turnovers last week, especially in the redzone, and I think SMU will hold up better.

Thursday Night:

1. Seattle/SF u39
2. Oregon -7 (bought the half point)
3. Oregon/ASU u69 (will wait until game time to see if can get more)
4. Houston/SMU o58.5 *2

Obviously Oregon/ASU under was a freaking gift after the first half, but... ummm... yeah, that's about as good as it gets right there.

Not injury, but the chance Seattle gets the ball back. It's a miracle situation, because the 49ers would be up 9, but with 43 seconds left, you'd need the Seahawks recover the onside kick, to score on a hail mary type situation, and then recover again, and win the game. Is that realistic, with the 49ers up 9? No. But when you compare it to the 49ers, being up 7, can just take the ball over on downs, kneel out the clock and win the game, it really was a no brainer situation.

People are ignoring injury possibilities. Kellen Winslow's career, and my Browns' past 10 years, would have been completely different it weren't for a meaningless onside kick @ Dallas.

No onside kick = no broken leg = no motorcycle stunt.
