Idk, i took green bay and lost a unit, but it was stolen by nfl scab refs. its tough bc ive reconciled the fact that gb won the game by more than 3 and yet i lost a bet.

winning a bet and being a lock are different things though. Green Bay should have covered this time but look at the trends with home dogs on Monday night. They cover more often than not
 
Seattle was the correct play, IMO. If they kick a field goal with 3:00 left instead of going for a TD they would have covered.

Green Bay's TD drive had like 2 bunk penalties on Seattle's defense as well.

are we really talking about "bunk" penalties against Seattle?? WOW! The roughing the passer was "bunk" and GB would have won and covered, nevermind the Shieldsds non-calls or the game winning interception
 
College injuries:

Western Michigan loses Alex Carder this week. Big blow to them. I'm on Toledo +3, they're at PK now and I think I'll put another unit on it. Toledo is solid.

Tevin King from La Tech is out for the year. Just a few pages back Japan and I talked about him a bit. Kid is a stud and will be missed. They'll cover this week, IMO, but their totals may be affected down the road.
 
Bottom line. If I am betting a prime-time NFL game, particularly on Monday night, I'm always taking the home underdog- especially if I get to fade the public as well.

I'm looking at these games, and trying to figure it out (again using the odds they use in my game).

Buffalo +18 at UConn
Indiana +13.5 at Nwestern
Marshall +16 at Purdue
Central Michigan +10 at No. Illinois
Baylor +13 at WVA
Tennessee +14 at UGA
Wisconsin +13.5 at Nebraska
UAB +14 Tulsa
South Alabama +9.5 Troy


As opposed to last week when I liked several games, this week I'm not really loving anything much. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I might be leaning toward UAB just because they are at home, but I don't know.

I was thinking of Marshall. Like big dogs that can score points ... and Hope is still corching Purdue right? His teams are always good for a nice ****ting of the bed here and there.

I disagree.

Georgia is not overrated imo. That team is stacked with talent. (People underrate the talent in the state of Georgia.) However, Richt just is not as a good a coach as Saban.

Georgia is one of 2-4 teams that can give Alabama a game.

I don't really think that UGA is overrated either. But Richt's teams always seem to lay an egg a couple times a year and it bites them. Something about that game just has that "feel". Tenn can score points, and UGA coming off such a beatdown of Vandy that they should be overconfident. It just seems ripe to be one of those games that they have.
