I need a best bet for this weekend by Thursday kickoff. Have a free play that must be used on an opening week college football game, so just going to throw it all on one game.

I'm leaning towards the Buckeyes, Gators or Canes.

The Miami line....LaTech/A&M game...O/U of Oregon game...Michigan/Bama


What do y'all think of the Penn State -6 line vs Ohio?
 
Ohio wins outright. They have a stout defense and a player at QB (Tettleton) coming back. They're my biggest play at +7.

I don't know if I have a "favorite" game this weekend, just like a bunch.

If it has to be Thursday I like Ball State -3 and UCF -23.5.

Here's some early thoughts:

Eastern Michigan +3.5 @ Ball St- EMU should have a very good offense this year and got a lot better last year. REturning a lot

Washington St +12.5 @ BYU- they'll be fired up and should have a good offense with a team that scored a lot last year and added Leach. BYU is not a great team and WSU will be fired up to play for Leach's first game. Huge public bet though, 70%

Ohio +6 @Penn St- Ohio should be pretty good this year and will be able to score.

Marshall @ WVU O64.5- can't go wrong with the Holgerson starship. WVU should be able to get to 50, can Marshall score twice?

Ohio St -22.5 vs. Miami OH- Urban will run up the score in his first game, over 48 might be a play as well, Bucks should put up 40

Miami -2 @ BC- I'm sorry but BC stinks and has some key guys out.

Auburn +3 vs. Clemson- I'll always take the points with an SEC vs. ACC and Auburn should be pretty decent this year.

Oklahoma -30.5 @ UTEP- The Landry Jones Heisman push starts with OU running up the score on a brutal UTEP team

Ark St/Oregon O67.5- this game has backdoor cover for Ark St written all over it so I'll take the over. Oregon scores 50, Ark St and Malzahn are good for 21 points, my favorite play of week 1

Other thoughts but not likely plays:
Michigan St -7 vs. Boise- Boise just lost too many guys
Western Michigan +10.5 @ Illinois
Michigan +13.5- I see a low scoring game with Michigan hanging around

Washington State should score a lot of points this year. They should be very inept on defense. I expect alot of overs this year for their games. Can they be like the ole Rice truck? Doubtful?

By the way anyone love Braves to win tonight?
 
Eastern Michigan +3.5 should have won last year so we will take the FG here
Texas -29 over Wyoming don't need a good QB performance their D should carry them in this one
Mich St -7 over Boise
Over in Oregon - Ark St over for Oregon is just an automatic bet pretty much and just double it the next week if by some chance it doesn't hit
UCLA -15 over the Rice Truck blasphemy I know and maybe I will be back here begging for forgiveness
 
Miami goes from one point dog to 2 point favs, people are catching on. I think it'll be 3.5 by game time.
