Because he easily could have been. Size speed and athleticism was up there. We are losing somebody that could have def been a big contributor for us. Avantae Williams “hasn’t done anything for us” but losing him is still unfortunate
I guess could have but he didnt or hasnt. Tae could have took the field and been completely lost all the same. Pope is a could have been All-American at this point. its not like we didn't replace his potential anyway

Key’Shawn Smith has been the receiver working most consistently on the first team in addition to Harley and Rambo.

I’d have to say Mark Pope has been a standout on the second team offense so far, he’s been consistently grouped with Redding and Wiggins. In 7v7 play going on now, Van Dyke just went to Pope three straight times, two of which were touchdowns.

Lake and Stock commenting on the chemistry between Garcia and Jacolby George. Said Garcia looks for him every time...
Makes sense. He has the best change of direction skills of any of the young wideouts. He's a very loose and fluid athlete with shades of DeVonta Smith to his game. I've said he should be the slot from the 2020 class not Brashard Smith cause he's nasty with a free release and 2-way go but could struggle with press outside due to lack of size/strength and speed.
