Offensive Line

Justice needs to spend the bye week working out a solution for the middle of that O-line because it gets blown up far too often.

If it's too light, which is looks like, call more outside zone plays. Otherwise see what Reed etc has.

The OL isn’t good. The hope was the scheme would cover that up some until the recent highly ranked OL recruits were ready. And it has done that to a degree.

i mean, this isn't hard to answer. tackles are no longer an unmitigated disaster, we hold up in pass pro some of the time instead of literally none of the time. it's obviously improved on last year. the problem is it's an improvement from historically, monumentally bad to "just" very bad.
I think you are over looking the fact that we have played the easiest schedule in last 15 years so far. UAB, FSU, Pitt, Virginia, Louisville. The reason we look improved is because we played sht teams. I assure vs better comp CLEMSON we are still the same turnstile up front.

Our so called offensive line improvement is a direct result of the offense system we run now..... We get absolutely no push from the interior of our line and we won't with the current set of lineman we trout out there. That's just the sad reality.
They're weak, slow and have no mental agility. Its hard to believe VA line looked like All Americans while their OL completely neutralized ours...

Go look at sacks , we had 53 sacks allowed last year. This ol looks like Washington hogs compared to last year. Yet it still below average, last year was all time atrocious.
we also didn't run 10-15 bubble screens a game last year. Williams wasn't mobile at all and we still haven't gotten any better running the football.

It’s pretty much the same
King just avoids sacks much better than Williams so the numbers just look better
exactly say what you want about the midget but the reason ppl see any improvement is because that mf can escape 3-5 sacks per game.

We have improved, which sadly tells you all you need to know about how bad it was last year. The real issue with this team is coaching. Manny isn’t HC material, Lashlee although a huge step up from Last year, has become extremely predictable play calling. 80% of the time on first down we’re running zone read up the middle for no gain. Blake Baker is a D2 coordinator and has no business being a part of this team. He just doesn’t get how defense works and doesn’t understand matchups.
