Offensive line consistency will be key

For all of you who think we are gonna run the table going forward we got another thing coming. I watched most of our ACC opponents and most of them look solid moreover we have three freshmen starting one of them whose a redshirt. Boston College look decent and even though virgin tech lost wills their QB can spin the ball. North Carolina defense looked ok and Sam Howell had a solid game. Besides Bethune cookman and central Michigan everything else looks like a dog fight

Do really think UNC’s QB faced the level of defense our QB faced? I’ve watched the UNC/SC game twice. It isn’t even close. SC would literally give them the most favorable Pre-snap looks ever. They don’t have the corners or DEs UF has. We have much better personnel across the board on defense than SC.

Plus - SC’s QB missed wide open WRs with no pressure at times. Literally missed an easy game winning throw at the 2m mark.

Imagine UVA or UNC playing UF in week zero. Imagine them playing a talented defense versus the ***** they faced. How about FSU vs their personnel? Week 0. That’s what you have to do.

After you do that, realize we were a dropped TD, missed kick, and a muffed punt away from beating UF by double digits. Even with our OL woes...

I will say this, absent a CFBPO appearance, the next best outcome would be rubber match in bowl game against the lizards (so long as they have a "good" season)...

And then beat them by 21+.

Would show upward trajectory for Miami.

I’ve been thinking the exact same thing since the game ended. A win would be huge for recruits

Even with DE coming in unblocked, if pulling 51 creates any daylight at all, Camron makes something out of nothing.

The same willis that threw 3 picks vs bc? Or the one that went 18/36 with 2 picks vs miami last year?

Yeah he throws pics but I saw flashes of him making some good throws. I just feel like we gotta come to play I wanna have a winning season as much as anybody but that Florida game we gotta come away with that win and I’m tired of the freshman bull**** excuse.

I hear you but I watched a lot of ACC games the past couple of days and I’m just concerned. The line was an issue in the spring and it is now. As far as the mistakes the “muffed punt” and the missed FG and dropped touchdown in the end zone the middle of the road teams make those mistakes not the CLEMSONS AND THE ALABAMAS. We gotta be better!
