Listening to Manny Diaz press conference again I began to think it might be a position coach without any QB experience. Why would he mention hiring an OC & QB coach? I might be dissecting to closely, but it does make me wonder. Anyone else have the same thoughts? Also, why haven’t anyone been hired up to this point if he had 3 candidates. We mentioned Larry Fedora (available), Applewhite (available), Gattis, Scott, and others I can’t remember their names. What are your thoughts?

no one hired cause he is taking his time and making sure he gets the guy he thinks is best. I wouldn't sweat it . let him take his time a bit u don't want hm to make a hurried hire he fires in 2 seasons do u?
 
He was also waiting on things to play out with Fedora. There have also been other coaches riding the carousel this week so things are still fleshing out.

Just be patient. He wants to make the right hire more than we want him to.
 
Pretty much. I’m on a staycation for the next two weeks so between checking this, playing Destiny 2 and other nafarioous activities, we should probably chill on all the speculation and wait. Looks like nothing new has developed in the 30 threads since candidates were leaked.
 
Eh its Applewhite they are just hammering out details and finding the rest of their staff. Would be very shocked if Apples wasn't announced by the end of the day.
