Offense v SMU

Every game, get Beck going early. He is like TVD in that they are streaky and you need to get them going early with check downs. Dawson didn't do that well with TVD. Lofton is open underneath. The slow A Gap running doesn't help Beck get in rythem. Let him take some shots deep after we pull the coverage up. Beck is good enough. Play calling, coaching. Penalties, coaching. Not taking check downs, coaching.

they sat down with TVD towards the end of his final season here and asked him what he prefers to do and incorporated that - he looked like a diff QB after that.

this needs to be done with beck
