Offense scheme change

I think today we struggled with picking up blitzes more so than regular pass pro like previous games. We had some really good pockets

Some of the sacks is mensah having to see it and get the ball out, or audible and get in the right protection.

As for scheme change i think we already run alot of max protect, and alot of quick game + screens. Today we mixed in tempo on early downs and mensah looked way more comfortable

In the end guys will just have to keep improving because there is no way around bad pass pro

Given this liability it seems that we are going to have to adjust the scheme to something similar to Texas under Sark: lots of screens to receivers, backs, and tight ends, mixed with quick passes and play-action shots. That’s probably the best thing we can do that doesnt require good protection. I don’t follow the Dolphins but Tua seemed to do a lot of it a few years ago

I’m not an X’s and O’s guy at all but Mensah will get destroyed against a decent line if we keep doing what we do. I hate the horizontal game but at this point we don’t have much choice.
