And that was inexcusable. Ed though to his credit made some outstanding upgrades to his staff. He's got two excellent coordinators, and his staff overall is head and shoulders above ours.

And that's the key. Ed made the tough choice to drop some coaches and bring in some guys who really know what the **** they are doing. And he got out of the way and let them do it.

That's my concern with Richt. He'll bring in the talent, but he had better reassess his staff, too.
 
There aren’t enough faqqy stats threads on here for the miserable nerds, so we need to start making **** up to clog this toilet even more.

the problem I see with this argument is that CMR rolled malik out there and it was on him to get him ready or another one of the back ups ready, he had the whole summer to get ready. that is on CMR

the punting is also on the coaches, feagles has shown minimum improvement if that since last year

but instead of getting a special teams coordinator we get a coach to coach ONE lb position
the overall staff make up is also on CMR

hes done a lot of good but hes also done an equal amount of corch moves that are suprising given his experience, therefore we cant blame lack of experience so why does he keep making corch moves?

This board was officially taken over by witless trolls and fans of misery after the LSU game. They’ve been lying in the weeds since Butch got passed over.

Some of the usual fans of misery are the same guys who only posted after our losing streak in 2016 then disappeared for about a year while we ran off a long winning streak then magically reappeared after Pitt.

Almost makes me wish we'd beat FIU something like 33-28. No TD's for us. 11 **** field goals. That ought to be enough to go ahead and push these guys over the edge so we don't have to worry about it anymore.

I don't refer any team as "we" or "us" unless I have played for them. We sit in the stands while they play the game. They practice and get ready while the rest of us talk.

It's idiotic to put yourself on the team by saying we and us.

I call them Miami because that's how I speak. Just like I call the Yankees the Yankees when I discuss them.

I'm not yelling for a championship NOW. I'm yelling that in YEAR 3 we should be further along at several positions from a talent accumulation and development standpoint. The reason those 2 facets of his job are suffering are DIRECTLY attributable to the fact he INSISTS on spending time calling plays when he should be MANAGING THE TEAM.

He's a horrible play caller and the domino impact from him choosing to allocate his time and resources to something he's not good at are KILLING the development of this program. We came 2 miracle catches away from having a 5 loss season last year and we looked like suspect garbage against LSU despite having ALL SUMMER to prepare for that game.

You define success however you want, I'm not happy with where he has this program in Year 3.

I see where you're coming from and the point you're trying to make...you have high expectations for this program such as myself. Some will only see your gripe as complaining bc they're not wired the same as you. You're not a casual fan, you're a football fan that watches the mexchanics of a qb, the vision and aggression of a rb, the precision of a route by receivers, the footwork and strength of the oL, and so on. They only see results of plays and/or games, not the cause and effects of them. But they're fans too, and you have to understand there will be feedback even if it's constructive criticism.

True fans can be dedicated as any and still identify flaws and voice their differences amongst the fanbase. It would be different if we are venting to other team's fans the concerns and issues we have with the staff, scheme and players. We share it with what suppose to be family. If you can't discuss it with fam then you have bigger issues.

I do think the program as a whole(crootin, facilities, culture) is in a better place with CMR; however, i to feel we would be better served with Richt's primary focus on steering the ship from the top deck and hiring a competent and updated OC.

A youth football coach shared with me the reason he was so successful and recognized as one of the greats in the area was because his primary focus was on solid coaching and development of his staff. The teams and players strived bc the staff was on top of their game and held accountable.

Unfortunately, misery fuels them like warm water feeds a hurricane. Most of them are either fringe fans who only casually watch the marquee matchups or just dorks from the gator board who like to stir up **** over here then run back there to get their cookie. Bad results will only make it worse over here.

The best way to keep these j1zz rockets from posting is for UM to play well. Most of them disappear when that happens.
