Offense is garbage

Fine. Then let's go get the next guy. You're convinced that Richt isn't one to get us to a title. So let's move on and get the next guy. Who is on your short list?

He could be but need to hire a savage OC (Briles) and let him take over the offense. Let Richt concentrate on being CEO, perhaps then our STs won’t be ignored

The sample size for this season is too small to make any kind of big deal about any stats.

But as far as the eye test goes. Our offense doesn't pass it.

This is the typical idiotic Don Bailey Jr superfan type reply.

I'm not yelling for a championship NOW. I'm yelling that in YEAR 3 we should be further along at several positions from a talent accumulation and development standpoint. The reason those 2 facets of his job are suffering are DIRECTLY attributable to the fact he INSISTS on spending time calling plays when he should be MANAGING THE TEAM.

He's a horrible play caller and the domino impact from him choosing to allocate his time and resources to something he's not good at are KILLING the development of this program. We came 2 miracle catches away from having a 5 loss season last year and we looked like suspect garbage against LSU despite having ALL SUMMER to prepare for that game.

You define success however you want, I'm not happy with where he has this program in Year 3.
EMPHASIZE on " all summer " to get ready for mighty LSU.

"Richt is a trash play caller and needs to hire an OC!"

"Rosier is a trash QB that can't hit our WRs running wide open all over the field!"

The same 5 of 6 posters make these two claims every single day, multiple times per day, yet have not once stumbled upon the obvious contradiction in those two statements.

We had a rough first game vs a top 5 defense and our WR’s we’re still running wide open all game. VT will get dominated just like they were last year. They aren’t LSU or any top team. Relax.
Yeah the play of malik rosier, the amazing field position LSU had compared to Miami and Miami’s punter had nothing to do with it.... not to mention the db that replaced our ejected db gave up 4-5 catches for 93 of joe burrows 140 yards he had vs Miami...

Miami will consistently struggle until they change their makeup on the offensive side of the ball. You guys throw out these "reasons" on why Miami struggled like those "reasons" aren't part of the makeup of the entire team.

Miami isn't strong enough in the trenches on offense to mask their average QB play, no matter how many WR's they have running around open. They also lack a big threat in the RB corps currently that can mask their average QB and underwhelming OL play.

Going to VA Tech, probably at night, is going to be a tall task for the offense. Which in turn will put a huge stress on the punter. You can't just throw out those parts of the team and pound your chest about open WR's when the rest of the offense is average, at best, in critical positions like OL and QB.

And if you can't adequately replace one DB on the field, either with personnel or scheme, then you are too shallow in those areas to really compete with the big boys. Hence the 33-3 score going into the 4th.

Agreed, There's significant room for improvement, especially on the offensive line and at the QB position.

You Sound stupid as ****, there were plenty of receivers open, rosier just wasn’t hitting them.

I'm convinced Richt needs to give up playcalling duties YESTERDAY.

I am rooting for the man. I absolutely love what he represents. I'm sick of the open turnstile at HC spot. Stop trying to talk to me like I'm one of the idiots on this board who is uneducated ****. I'm old enough, experienced enough, and been wrong enough times in life to know when someone else is also making a mistake.

Richt's fascination with play calling is going to be his demise here. God forbid we lose to FSU in a couple weeks, we'll be right back to a place where planes are flying over Hardrock on gameday.

Here's the thing: There is absolutely no guarantee that Richt will take us to the promised land. But if all he does is bring our program into the 21 Century from our hellhole we were in and gets us to UGA's talent level and reaches his peak at 11-2 annually, I will tip my hat to him. Because then, we will have a much better shot of luring a top coach to carry us that last mile a la Kirby.

Think rationally, and let Richt take us as far as he can and quit your *****ing. We will come out of this in very good shape no matter what.

All good points. Now, man the fvck up and come clean: Who's your squad, because it is clear as day reading your posts that it's not the U. Any 'fan' who uses 'Miami' and 'they' and not 'we' or 'us' is giving themselves away. And all of your 33 posts are written in the manner.

Gaytors? Semenholes? Be a man and out yourself.
