If Butch Davis were our coach, we win 8 games last year.

We lose to FSU.

Dude was such a sack of **** gameday coach. You senile ***** need to get off your ******* nostalgia trip.

Richt is in his 50's like 90% of the college football coaches out there. Although, if you want to go the Saban and Butch route, there are plenty of dudes in their late 60's.

If hiring a successful head coach were easy, UF, FSU, UCLA and Neb wouldn't be griping 3 games into their new hires.
 
I share almost all of the gripes with Richt as you guys. His offense ****es me the **** off, along with his stubbornness.

That being said, When we hired him, he was the best available.

if you think Butch Davis would have this program in better shape at this very moment, you are out of your ******* mind. Simple as that.

The IPF and other recent facility upgrades? You think Butch would get the ball rolling on all that? You think Butch would donate millions out of pocket for that stuff were he coach?

Get the **** out of here.

It was 33-3 going into the 4th quarter against LSU. Miami scored two garbage TD's on drives of 77 and 74 yards, respectively. Their other two "drives" in the 4th resulted in 34 total yards. Miami finished the game with 342 total yards.

Miami had approximately 167 total yards through 3 quarters. Yet, posters on here want us all to believe that Miami is the superior team and that we should have crushed LSU.

Miami is going to get smoked at Va Tech and struggle with average teams in the conference because of the mix of QB, OL, overall lack of playmakers and Richt's outdated play calling.

Yeah the play of malik rosier, the amazing field position LSU had compared to Miami and Miami’s punter had nothing to do with it.... not to mention the db that replaced our ejected db gave up 4-5 catches for 93 of joe burrows 140 yards he had vs Miami...

Age has nothing to do with it. Richt is over the hill because of the way he operates. Look at the staff. What Championship coach puts together a staff filled with inexperienced coaches? We have 7 units that are being coached by first time coaches.

Don't even mention Saban's name in the same breath with Mark richt. Again, age has nothing to do with it. Saban is a wolf. Richt is a sheep when it comes to being dominant and winning championships.

And in a world where that is true...our schedule is PATHETICALLY WEAK by comparison.

It's basically a 2 game schedule at this point since FSU is complete garbage. The two game regular season consists of LSU and V Tech, with Richt already losing 1 of those.

Losing any other game on THAT schedule in his THIRD year here would constitute MAJOR heat on the coach at any big time football power with a competent AD, and a board who cares about football. Alas, as I mentioned in an earlier posts, due to the fact we are devoid of said AD or board Richt will get a pat on the proverbial ***, a "good job", and some pizza with ice cream.

We had a rough first game vs a top 5 defense and our WR’s we’re still running wide open all game. VT will get dominated just like they were last year. They aren’t LSU or any top team. Relax.

Right, the obvious path to success to keep putting MAJOR heat on people until we get that guy who will easily come in and win championships. Even though no one knows who that guy is. I mean, we're on our fourth coach since our last title 17 years ago, but we're MIAMI **** it, and we need a championship NOW.

So you think Coker, Shannon and Golden would have been okay without the heat? They got heat because we were a premier program being cheap, hiring garbage.

Can’t wait till we fire Richt and end up w some dope Bc this fan base is awful and thinks titles should come immediately. We have been duke for the last 15 years. Too soon to be calling for a guy to be fired unless you want to pony up 10 mill to get Saban here and hope he likes the area the second time around
