These stats are correct but I'm not sure where they got the rankings from.

Total YPG
vs All - 436 (59th)
vs FBS - 407.5 (62nd)
vs P5 - 342 (59th)

Rushing YPG
vs All - 196.6 (54th)
vs FBS - 175.5 (53rd)
vs P5 - 83 (81st)

Passing YPG
vs All - 239.7 (67th)
vs FBS - 232 (55th)
vs P5 - 259 (32nd)

Yards Per Play
vs All - 6.15 (55th)
vs FBS - 5.62 (67th)
vs P5 - 4.96 (60th)


Our offense isn't terrible. But we are definitely extremely average.

We can run all the points and yards up we want versus the Sisters of Savannah, Rubber Tech located in a strip mall, and the College of Habana in Sweetwater...couldn't care less. Cool.

Lets check out that LSU, Clemson, and Wisconsin film.

That's literally 3 top 5 defenses you just listed. 2 of them being top 3 Defensive coordinators in CFB.

Edit: Last year, Clemson was #2 and Wisconsin was #3. LSU was #14 last year and is #13 so far this year. Even with LSU outside of the top 10, they have the most consistent DC in CFB.

Wisconsin played nobody. They are the most overrated team year after year. The B1G West is worse then both divisions of the AAC and maybe even the MWC.

I'm glad you waited to bring this up, it was apparent none of these things were going to be discussed at any point.

Yeah? And...

Who compares themselves - in any walk of life - to the 60th best of anything. Compare yourselves and your performance to the best. Period. We can go 10-2 or 11-1 annually, but if we're getting throttled by some SEC Team out of conference, taking a big L to Clemson or another ACC power in the Championship Game and getting worked in a bowl game...who here would really happy with that? Gonna look back in a decade - like Georgia - and realize it was just wasted time.

I heard Richt was an offense guy - especially a QB whisperer.

I assumed everyone knew what they were talking about - but that's not the case.

On the other hand - Butch Davis IS a great defensive guy!

Too bad. Defense is what wins games and championships.

He is a QB whisperer like the Portsers on Ghey Bait call Mulligan a QB whisperer. It is just a bunch of homers that think their coach is the GOAT.
