I saw that ESPN has come out with week 1 overall team offense and defense rankings. They have us ranked 16th on defense and 28th on offense. I'm looking forward to seeing where we stack up after we smack FSpUke back to Trailerhassee.

28th on O because our special teams and D gave us short fields to work with.
 
It's got nothing to do with being "ranked" 16th on defense. It's purely statistical. 15 teams gave up less yardage on opening weekend.

This makes a lot of sense. With 70 points you'd think we had more yards in that game but it's the short field factor.
 
There weren't many long drives. Punt return touchdown, blocked punt, turnovers deep in their own territory. It's a positive sign that Miami was able to turn them all into touchdowns instead of field goals though.
