no need to keep forcing the running in first downs it just isn’t working. Let’s go backyard ball and let our athletes work. Once defense are tired then hit them with body blows in the running game.

pick up the running game next year haha
 
Just be versatile and take whichever the defense gives us. Safety in the box=pass. No safety = run. We have the talent to do either so let each game and each play answer itself. Defense can’t take everything away all game.
 
King dropped in some dimes tonight. And the WRs did their jobs and hauled in most. A few drops too where King was on the money and he still goes for 76% completion rate. He has to stay consistent. If this is him and we have been waiting on timing, we are rolling if the D can figure itself out. Brevin brings another threat and a legit two headedTE option when necessary. Should open the run game substantially.

I liked that Lashlee stopped with the run attempts on 1st downs as they were getting predictable. He can get real creative if we are able to throw the ball to RBs, TEs and WRs like we should be able to.
