I think it’s very possible we will see much a improved defensive for a couple reasons this coming season. Foremost, practicing against a face paced spread offense daily as compared to Enos ball should make a huge difference. Are defense is going to be tested daily mentally to play fast just based on the pace we plan on going. I’m interested in how much a difference it makes. Secondly, we have the horses up front to help the backend. Manny really needs to focus on the defense with Baker.

If playing fast and not getting first downs and scores then that translates to the defense being on the field longer. Lashleee has to make it work. Look at Syracuse playing fast does not equal wins.

they will possibly be able to get off the field.

Also if Lashlee can simply get 3rd down from dead last to #50 or #60 our defense will play that much harder. Not being on the field all **** game needing to stop every **** drive to have a chance.

I'm not sure we have any players that can play fast. They are used to looking to the sidelines on every play for instruction.

I firmly believe that we don’t know sht until halfway through the season. Sick and tired of spring and fall camp all Americans and the next this or that great from the U.
it’s going to be a long long off season fellas.

I feel u... Every ******* year we have all Americans before the season start and by the end the supposed all Americans are Jags

4th & 17 says HI!

3 redzone trips in the first half netting a total of 6 points see your hi and raise you a hello.

Again, people around here are gonna cry about 4th and 17 until we’re all dead. And that’s fine, it was an inexcusable play. But once again, the defense gave up 28 points to a pretty good offense (top 30 in YPG and YPP). Not great, but not awful. But when you put up 100 more yards than your opponent, more passing yards, more rushing yards, more first downs, don’t turn it over and lose....something went way wrong. That something is Dan Enos and his offense in the redzone, and Bubba ******* Baxa.

If we would have scored 35 points in every game this year we would have not lost that many games. Our offense has been **** for the past three years hopefully they ball out this year.

First team D lines up against a scout team O mimicking that weeks opposing offense.

Mannys defense feasts on teams with bad OL and dumb QBs.

Any well coached QB and season OL kills his scheme every single time throughout his career. It is a defensive scheme made by a madden nerd that eschews all sound principles to be flashy and exciting.

and morons jerk off to it when we get 8 sacks vs GT or some other sad ACC team, and then dont understand when Kelly Bryant goes 12-13 with three TDs to start a ball game without us getting a single stop.
