QB makes the throws you think he won't and throws trash when you think he's got the time and open receiver to make the throw. Truly remarkable how he keeps you on your toes that way

That's because he's making only one read. When the ball comes out quick, he's basically predetermined where he's going.

When he has time and is holding the ball, it's because his 1st receiver isn't open and is slow to move to the next read. It's to be expected by a young QB who hasn't played much.
