The UT game came down to wire and now UT doesn't have their Heisman candidate QB. If they played again I would probably pick Bama, but I certainly wouldn't fault anyone for going with UT.

My point is that if USC or TCU lose, there is no clear cut 4th team and I think that it makes sense that Alabama would be one of the teams being considered for the last spot.

The usual suspects in media are already working to make it happen. I truly believe they will make it happen so bama gets in.

2) Michigan
3) LSU
4) Alabama

TCU had more ranked wins than Alabama
TCU had the best win between the two (#10)
TCU's second best win against a ranked opponent (Texas) was Alabama's best win
TCU beat Texas by 7. Alabama beat them by 1 (on a FG with 15 seconds left)
TCU is playing in their conference championship game, while Alabama stayed home and avoided another loss

IF TCU loses, their ONLY LOSS would be to K-State who is currently 10th. K-State would jump idle Tenn and Penn St for beating #4. Meaning TCU's one loss would be against a higher ranked opponent than BOTH of Alabama's.

Remind me again why Alabama should get in over TCU even if they lose..
 
We’ve already saw this play out, the last time OSU and Michigan were undefeated playing each other and yet we were told that even though they just played a phenomenal game we don’t want to see that for the championship but when it happened in the SEC that’s exactly what we got Bama and LSU deaux for the title. Long winded way of them showing us that SEC over everything regardless of what happens on the field. **** coming into this week LSU and their 2 losses were ranked ahead of USC 😂

Because the CFP committee does not use math models to pick teams. The 2014 TCU is far better than this team and they did not get in with one loss. Ohio State would get in with a loss before TCU does.

My issue is with 2 loss Alabama. They can gtfoh.

The CFP is about who the committee thinks is the best 4 teams. Hooker getting hurt makes Tennessee not as good and not a candidate for getting in with 3 losses.
