Trying to speak Bama into the playoff. Can it happen? You bet your *** it can. How?

Tcu loss
Usc loss

There are two locked spots. UGA and Michigan. Two are up for grabs.

I think if either of those happen they may get in over OSU.

If both happen they are def in.

I’m not sure if this was your implication but it’s ridiculous when people complain about him doing this. Other stuff sure but what is he supposed to do with this? Say it’s someone else’s turn? If they get in that is on the committee and a broken system.

It's to all the posters who said their CFP chances were dead after they lost to lsu.

Let it play out and stop politicking all the time. This is one very small fraction of how entitlement creeps into a program. Let them sit home and marinate on what they could have done better.

So I’m not saying he should turn the playoffs down if they get in, but he shouldn’t be out here on a campaign for it when they had the opportunity and failed. Let the cards fall where they fall.

Lost to a 2 loss and three loss team.

I think they made the playoff or title game one year without winning their division (and I think with two losses). This shouldn’t be a surprise to any one. But him lobbying is one thing. It’s on the committee to say what the standards are and to recognize they easily could have lost 1-2 more.

I know they did. But it was utter bull**** at the time. We all knew it.

Honestly, if one of them lost (and definitely if both) who should they put in? I would say Alabama has just as strong an argument as anyone else.

- If just TCU lost and it was a close game, I would not be surprised if they kept them in
- I don't think you can put OSU in since they just got beat up by Michigan
- Tenn beat Alabama, but it was a close one and then they got punked by South Carolina and their QB is done for the season

Alabama is clearly not close to what they have been in the past, but if TCU or USC loses I don't think there is any particularly strong candidates for the 4th spot.

He’s done this every year that they haven’t been a clear participant and the entitlement or culture rot hasn’t crept in yet.

They both beat Vandy by 52. You really think bama is better than UT? South Carolina would beat lsu if they played today.
