hey everyone, never been to Miami before and a few of my buddies from NC and I are making the trip to see the game this weekend. Hopefully we can beat the tarheels and I can talk crap for the second straight year in person, being at the game last year in Chapel Hill was priceless.

Anyways, We'll be in Miami from Friday afternoon to sunday night. I've heard pembroke pines is a solid area to get a hotel in because of the price and its not too far from everything. Does anyone have any place they recommend when visiting Miami and going to a Hurricanes game?

Just curious as to any advice anyone might be kind enough to give 3 of us. Does anyone know of any big events or any "places to be" of sorts for college kids(old enough to drink) during halloween weekend in the area? My friend has never been to a strip club and he wants to go to tootsies saturday night after the game, and we were thinking south beach all day sunday but not sure what actually is going on in the area or what places to avoid on halloween night Friday. Thanks!

Grove is meh but ok for college kids I guess?

I'd go over to Wynwood if I were you...just don't make the wrong turn. It's the most interesting area of Miami by far, but it's basically in the middle of a ghetto.

I dont want anything to happen to you so avoid overtown and wynwood because you are not familiar with the area. South Beach and tootsies because you do not want to look like a tourist in the wrong neighborhood and don't go exploring.

Halloween is the grove's best night. They shut down all the streets, all the UM kids will be there.

thank you all. might end up trying out the grove for halloween night and the rest. Here’s to an awesome tailgate and hopeful *** whooping of North Caorlina on Saturday

This the strip club some of the old school canes frequent. Bryant Mckennie ran up a $500k bar tab, the place is owned by trick daddy's father. But there are also some other nice choices for strip clubs in miami.
